Publication Day!

In this crazy old carousel that is a writing career these days, book seven is out today!! Part of me still wants to be shouting about a Taste of Italian Sunshine (I still listen to some of the songs on the playlist). Part of me still wants to shout about My Christmas Number One (I missed its third birthday back in September)! But with the book market dominated by algorithms and discoverability, building a backlist is the way forward for authors today and I’m actually kind of flummoxed at how nicely my backlist is coming along! Haha.

But while the sales and marketing and readership and all that remain overwhelming to me, I love being here in my writing cave building characters, exploring settings and infusing the pages with the emotions of travel and falling in love.

Snow Days With You took a little longer to write than my usual – four months just for the first draft. But the result is a bit more sweeping than my usual, more dramatic landscape and feelings and a bit of a mystery. I hope you all enjoy it.
