In an absolute dream come true, Boldwood Books have picked up my debut novel My Christmas Number One for publication this September!
I’m thrilled to be in the group of fabulous Boldwood authors and working with the experienced and enthusiastic editorial/marketing team. Boldwood is a new and ambitious publishing house, but a lot of their authors have years of publication behind them already and I couldn’t be happier to join their number and add my book to Boldwood’s catalogue.
My Christmas Number One is a fun, glamorous romance with real heart. It’s about two musicians from different parts of the world – different families, different Christmas traditions and different attitudes to life – finding love unexpectedly. It’s a celebration of music and the nostalgia of Christmas and how both can bring people together.
Publishing my debut novel is the fulfillment of a lifetime ambition. From when I was seven years old, I was writing long (admittedly boring) stories whenever the teacher set a writing task. I finished my first novel (never to see the light of day, but it was instructive) when I was twenty. I’ve learned a lot over the past few years of seriously writing for publication and I’m ecstatic to have the chance to bring the characters I love to romance readers.
I am a romance fan myself and I love curling up in a fantasy world watching characters fall in love. I write what I love to read: escapist, heartfelt romances with unforgettable characters, a sprinkle of glamour and a happy ending!
