I am interrupting my Italian programming to bring you this Aladdin-inspired winter fairytale with all the sights, plenty of misadventures and a love story with a touch of fate, set in the incomparable city of light, Paris!
This book has been a learning experience for me and I’m so proud of how it turned out. It’s full of nuggets of history and poetry, philosophy and… Disney. Yep, you heard that right! Ren and Sacha’s romance is a classic Lady and the Tramp/Aladdin trope of the rich heroine and poor hero (or normal, everyday hero in this case), with a fake relationship (because who doesn’t love that trope?) and a dose of forbidden love (which was completely new territory for me) and a thread of chance and coincidence. There are also hints of Sleeping Beauty and the Hunchback of Notre Dame (of course!).
But if Ren loves to escape into fairytales, Sacha is firmly grounded in the real world, and he brings the rawness of history and the melancholy of poetry. He also has some pretty sexy tattoos.
I had an amazing time writing a Parisian romance and I hope you fall in love with Sacha and Ren!

My fiancé dumped me and my life is… complicated. I don’t know what I want anymore. I’m such a pitiful mess that a kind stranger agreed to play my fake lover to throw my family off. I keep getting him into trouble. I know I shouldn’t, but I’m falling in love with him for real.
Sacha
She’s rich and sheltered and way out of my league, but I’ve never been able to say no to her. But if she asks me to make this real, there will be consequences she won’t like. I want to kiss her for real when she looks at me like that.
Ren would never have guessed that an inappropriate boyfriend was just what she needed.
