It’s not long now until the official pre-order launch of my eighth book, but as usual, for the eagle-eyed among you, there are some early hints if you can’t wait!
The beautiful cover with its pink accents is absolutely stunning, with the Costa Brava in the background and a pair of stone pines that I absolutely love. It’s a wonderful cover for a book I’m quite ridiculously excited about – my long-awaited road trip romcom, with the funniest, most down-to-earth main character Jo and a fiery spark between her and the love interest Adrian and a whole lot of ‘Planes, Trains and Automobiles’ hijinks in France and Spain.
This is my ‘mood board’ for the book, showing the location of the plane’s emergency landing in Lourdes, France (above, middle), the Costa Brava, as well as the chaotic wedding at the centre of the plot (between Jo and Adrian’s exes!) It’s all about letting people see who you really are, about acceptance, moving on and about family bonds.
It’s up on Netgalley and already has three glowing reviews! I secretly wanted the first review to have ‘I LOVED this book’ in capitals and it happened!!
I can’t wait for you all to read A Wedding in the Sun! Here’s a little teaser of the cover (although if you go looking around online, you’ll find the full version. Shh! Keep it to yourself for another week or so! And please do share any posts you see when it’s announced. I would LOVE this book to make it out to lots of readers).
