A Wedding in the Sun

It’s cover reveal day for A Wedding in the Sun, so I don’t have to keep it secret anymore! I love this cover so much! The pink of Jo’s dress and hat look so lovely against the yellow and blue and the composition, with the winding path and the way the worse frame the figure! It’s just gorgeous. And of course the stone pines in the top corner feel like they were put there just for tree nerd me (they weren’t, it was just the cover designer apparently being telepathic).

I’m so, so proud of this book and the wacky journey through France and Spain (and the parallel emotional journey of our protagonists on the way to the wedding of their exes – to each other – which they absolutely dread). Jo is without a doubt my favourite female main character of all the ones I’ve written (sorry everyone else, but she’s just special). I really hope this book reaches readers. As one reviewer on Netgalley has written, ‘This has a rom com movie adaptation written all over it!’ Just saying, Netflix hahahaha. I’m not usually anywhere near this confident in my work, but this one just felt like it achieved what I was aiming for.
